After an enjoyable time spent at Kapunda Park near St. George, we pulled up stumps and headed northward again. Knowing Longreach would be our next major stopover, we desided to amble along as we could not make it in one day. Travelling on the Carnarvon Hwy, passing through Surat then onto Roma we turned left onto the Warrego Hwy. After another 90 Klm heading west we pulled off the highway to look for a spot to camp for the night, finally finding a place called, Neil Turner Weir. It is situated 5 Klm. out of Mitchell.
