Back in Harrington, which is one of our favourite places in the Manning area, you will see a few more photos than I would usually post, only because of the obvious. The breakwall that Meta and our 2 great nephews, Mitch and Sam are strolling along was built by the convicts many years ago and now maintained by the shire council. One side of the wall has the ocean with several sand spits that keep shifting as the ocean changes. On the town side there are two inlets, one lagoon and the main area protected from the sea which comes in from where the Manning River mouth meets the ocean. A popular fishing haven where each year many people come for their holidays and a place I grew up to love and the place where my parents finally settled.
