On the 23 June we departed Cranky Rock and headed to Lightning Ridge via Moree and Collarenebri, turning north just out of Walgett, we arrive at a roadside stop 10Klm. south of the Ridge. We free camped there overnight along with several others. The greynomads tell me its the thing to do if you arrive late you camp out of the towns because you waste money by not spending all day at a caravan park. Who am I to argue.
