On the 19 Aug 2012, after a 3 day break at Bivouac Junction we headed back out to the Flinders Hwy and headed west again. First stop would be Charters Towers to stock up with supplies and continue on towards Cloncurry. The shopping took for ever and we departed Charters Towers well after lunch. I knew we would not make Cloncurry so we pulled over to a roadside stop for the night 47 km east of Richmond.
